Every request, change and proposal in one place.

OpsDesk is a work tracker for DevOps teams. Anyone can raise a request in a minute. The team sees it, approves it and keeps the record.

Raise a request without learning the system

Managers and scrum masters shouldn’t need to know how the team files things to ask for something.

  • Say what you needA title and a few words are enough. The team adds the technical detail.
  • Approve from your inboxApprovers get an Approve or Decline link by email. The link expires after a set time.
  • Follow progressRequesters can check the status from a tracking link, without needing the team’s help.
  • Keep the recordEvery change to an item is kept in its history, so you can see who did what and when.

Three kinds of work, kept visibly apart

A request, a proposal and a change are different things. OpsDesk shows them differently, so a list is easy to read at a glance.

Request

Someone asks the team to do something.

Proposal

The team suggests a change and asks for a decision before doing it.

Change

Something that was changed, or is planned, kept as the record of what happened.

Solid, dashed and double edges mark them in lists.
