Terms of service

Last updated 8 November 2026

In short. Use OpsDesk to track real work, keep your account to yourself, don’t misuse the service, and understand that it’s provided as it is, without guarantees of uptime.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of OpsDesk, a work-tracking service run by LinuxOps (“we”, “us”). By signing in or using OpsDesk you agree to them. If you use OpsDesk on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it. If you don’t agree, please don’t use OpsDesk.

2. Your account

You sign in to OpsDesk with a Google account. Keep access to that account secure and don’t let anyone else use your sign-in. You’re responsible for what happens under your account, and you should tell us promptly at nikkle@linuxops.in if you think it has been misused.

What you can see and do in OpsDesk depends on the projects and roles an administrator gives you. Administrators can add or remove people and can disable an account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you put into OpsDesk, including requests, comments and attachments. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only so we can run the service for you and your organisation, as described in the privacy policy. You’re responsible for your content and for having the right to add it.

5. The service

We work to keep OpsDesk available and working, but we don’t promise it will always be available, error-free or free of data loss. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the service. Keep your own copy of anything you can’t afford to lose; OpsDesk can export reports so you can do this.

6. Ending your access

You can stop using OpsDesk at any time. We or an administrator may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if it’s needed to keep the service secure, or if your organisation stops using OpsDesk. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as 4, 7 and 8, continue after your access ends.

7. No warranty

OpsDesk is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, including about fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation.

8. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or business interruption arising from your use of OpsDesk. Our total liability for any claim relating to OpsDesk is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim, which for a free service is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll change the date at the top and, where we can, let people who use OpsDesk know. If you keep using OpsDesk after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute about them, unless the law where you live gives you rights that can’t be waived.
